Co-CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES

Music

Our school offers a comprehensive Music lessons as follows:

Foundation Music

This is offered starting from Baby class to class six. The content covered is mostly Music theory where children are taught how to read and write Music.

Instrumental Music

Children are taught how to play various Music instruments such as:

 

  1. Clarinet

  2. Piano

  3. Trumpet

  4. Violin

  5. Cello

  6. Flute

  7. Recorder

  8. Guitar

  9. Voice

  10. Trombone

  11. Oboe

We prepare children to participate in various Music activities such as:

  1. Music festivals

  2. Open days

  3. graduation

  4. Outreach programs outside our school compound

 

Children who perform well are registered to do International Music Examinations by a body called ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music).Which is done annually.

Some of the students who take Music continue with the subject up to secondary and university levels.

The school has a well-established school orchestra and currently we are KMF champions in primary orchestra category.

Co-CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES

Elocution

Our school offers various elocution items such as Poetry, Mashairi and French poems. The items are presented during the various school functions such as:

Sports and Ball Games.

The school offers a variety of ball games, such as football, Basketball, volley Ball and indoor games such as table tennis, these are offered on alternate Thursdays.

We sometimes participate in ball games organized by the Ministry of Education where the school performs quite well.

Clubs and Societies

The school offers clubs and societies which are offered on alternate Thursdays.

Following are the clubs offered:

The main purpose of the clubs and societies is to supplement what is taught in class.
